I was challenged by this quote from our reading this week (I would tell you the page number, but my book is different):
"There are hundreds of strange and radical things God is calling his people to do in the cause of world missions. Not everyone will hear the same call. Yours will be unique. It may be something you never dreamed of doing. It may be something you have only dreamed of doing. But I urge you to listen to the leading of the Spirit to see where "outside the camp" he may be taking you "to bear the abuse he endured."
What is God calling you to do for the cause of world missions? Are you even listening to his Spirit? Does he only call people he wants to go overseas, or does everyone have a call to missions?
I would love to see some discussion on the questions above and hear what you think! (That was a hint to ask each of you to respond to this post) Please reply sometime this week!

Are you a "Clique Buster?"
I quickly realized that Allied Force was made up of a bunch of different groups. And obviously with a group our size, we are going to have different groups. But here is what I wonder. Are we inclusive of other people within our groups? I think God created us to go after depth of relationships but didn't he also command that we would go and preach the gospel to all nations? And doesn't that mean that we have to be clique busters?
What do you think? How are we doing in this area?

One more thought
Not that anyone but Chris and Becky check this anyways, lol, I have one more question from this week's chapter (12).
On page 320, at the top, it's talking about sometimes the church gets so caught up in the vision for the church, we forget about the people. Do you think we have done that?
Feel free to comment, so we can discuss!!

Irresistible Revolution...or Revival???
Please respond to one or all of the questions below:
What is the difference between a revolution and a revival? What should we as a church be striving for in our community?
How do YOU make poverty personal? Have you ever had an experience that made poverty personal to you? What was it? How has it affected the way you look at the world & live your life?
Who are the invisible people around us? In your school? In our student ministry? In our community? In our world? What is keeping you from reaching out to them? What are you willing to do to reach them?
How do we stop being chameleons and start being Christians as individuals & as a Church (the body of Christ)?
